Violinist Ben Adler, newly appointed Synagogue Music Curator, and pianist Paul Khodor, have been making music at Emanuel for a combined total of 30 years. Outside of shule, they play in klezmer fusion band CHUTNEY, and its offshoot, the folk/classical duo CHUTNEY unplugged. They offer this haunting rendition of Avinu Malkeinu, recorded in the Neuweg Sanctuary, as a gift to the Emanuel Synagogue community. We hope it gets you in the mood for the High Holy Days.
